Hello to all of my football junkies out there, this is the 'Hitman" coming to you live from reading week. With the NFL combine and draft around the corner, were going to take a look at some of the top prospects coming into this years draft. The man who seems to be on everyone's radar, as the potential number one pic in this years draft, is a Quarterback named Andrew Luck from the University of Stanford. He is predicted to go to the Indianapolis Colts as the number one pic. My prediction for the number two pick, is Robert Griffin III. Robert is a Quarterback out of Baylor University, and with the presence of Andrew Luck in the draft it makes him a very exciting possibility for any team to pick-up. For my number three prediction in this years draft, im going to choose Justin Blackmon, a wide receiver from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Blackmon is the most dominant receiver in this years draft class, he has excellent speed, hands, and just has a knack for making the "big play" on the "big stage." so what i want to know is, what do all of you readers think? Who will be this years Top 3 picks in the 2012 NFL Draft? Holler at your boy!!!

For today's post were going to switch gears, this is due to the fact that the single most Important sports event in North America has just happened, and that event is the 46th Super Bowl. After all is said and done, and the smoke has cleared, the New York "football" Giants were victorious. Leading up to the game, so much controversy was created by the media, fans, analysts, and football fanatics alike. So many football fans were convinced that Tom Brady and his high powered offense were unstoppable at this point in the post-season, especially after amounting 10 wins in a row. On the other hand, many as well as myself  were convinced that the relentless pass rush of the Giants was just too much for Tom Brady and the offensive line of the Patriots to handle. This is the point at which most fans become confused; a high powered offense is just simply not enough to win a Superbowl. I can see how one who is not the most experienced football fan could  confuse themselves with such a dilemma. Tom Brady can have all of the passing records he wants, but if he does not have a sufficient amount of time to throw the ball, all of those records really don't mean much. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Tom Brady and Patriots fan, and would have loved to see the Patriots get another Superbowl win to solidify their dynasty, but the fact of the matter is that Defense does win games! What I want to know is, what does the public think about this? Does offense win games or is it all about the Defense??? Holler at your boy "Hitman!"
